What is Ameni?
Ameni is a Sydney-based smart-amenity operator. We install and manage AI-powered self-service fridges inside premium residential and commercial buildings across Greater Sydney.
What does Ameni offer?
A fully managed amenity: we deliver, install, curate, restock, clean and service the fridge end-to-end. The property gets a premium amenity people love. There's nothing to run.
What are smart fridges?
Refrigerated cabinets that use AI, video and payments technology to let users tap, open the door, take any items they want, and close the door to be charged automatically.

Cost & installation
What does it cost?
For qualifying properties, nothing. Ameni covers delivery, installation, stocking and servicing. There is no cost to the building.
Who pays for electricity?
The host site provides a standard power outlet. The fridge uses a small amount of electricity, comparable to a household bar fridge.
How long does it take to install in my property?
Typically two to three weeks from the first walk-through. Delivery and commissioning takes a few hours on the day itself.
Can I have the screen customised to my property?
Yes, the reader display can be customised to your property with branding and messaging. Talk to us about your requirements.

How does it work?
Tap your card, phone or watch on the reader. The door unlocks. Take any items you want. Close the door, the fridge confirms your selection and charges automatically.
Do you have fresh food?
Yes, fresh food, sandwiches and ready-meals are supported alongside snacks and beverages. The mix is curated to what your users actually want.
Do you offer cold food?
Yes. Ameni Smart is a refrigerated cabinet, so cold food and drinks are standard.
Do you offer specific products I want?
Most likely, our range covers Coca-Cola, Mars, Red Rock Deli, Red Bull, V, Cool Ridge and more. Talk to us about specific brands or dietary preferences for your site.
Are they for homes?
No, Ameni is designed for shared modern properties: apartment buildings, offices, hotels, gyms and similar spaces where multiple people use the amenity.
Who are they for?
Property managers, building owners, office managers and venue operators who want a premium self-service amenity without the cost or admin of running one.

What if it breaks?
Every amenity is connected to 24/7 remote monitoring, we usually know before you do. Our local Ameni team responds and restores service quickly.
What if someone tries to cheat the video system?
AI recognition combined with weight sensing and payment authorisation before unlock makes tampering impractical. Every transaction is authenticated to a card before the door opens.
Do users need an account to buy something?
No. Users tap a contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, no app, no account, no sign-up.
